Salman Cheema advises corporations, families, and investors on US and Global immigration and mobility strategies. In a career spanning over 15 years he has worked as an attorney focused on large technology companies as both outside counsel and currently as an in-house subject matter expert within Amazon's People Experience and Technology organization. With Amazon, Salman's work enabled mobility and immigration in new markets globally, as well as the integration of immigration-sponsored foreign nationals working for targets of M&A activity- including the Amazon Studios acquisition of MGM. In his current role with Amazon, Salman is focused on evangelizing Amazon's immigration program among all business verticals and developing a mobility Return on Investment metric for business and finance executives.

Salman is passionate about refugees and the humanitarian migrant community. With Amazon he has worked with teams around the world to assist and resettle Afghans and Ukrainians fleeing armed conflict, as well as other persecuted and at-risk individuals. Outside of his role with Amazon, Salman is a member of the Board of RAICES, and organization committed to the legal protection of immigrants and refugees.
